Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Admission in India (2025)

You can pursue Engineering in India if you are:

  • JEE Main Aspirants (General Category): Must secure a minimum of 45%-50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class 12 or equivalent.
  • JEE Main Aspirants (Reserved Category): Must secure a minimum of 40% marks in PCM in Class 12 or equivalent.
  • Candidates with Disability (General Category): Must secure at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12 or equivalent.
  • The candidate must have passed the 12th Standard (or equivalent) examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Candidates must have completed 17 years of age before 31st December of the year of admission.
